Kari Beserra, LMHC, is Chief Operating Officer for JRI.  In this role, Kari works closely with JRI’s leadership team to execute our strategy and vision while fostering an inclusive and collaborative environment.   Kari also oversees many of the central departments in the agency, including Training, Staff Development, and Quality Management. Throughout her career, Kari has worked closely with state partners, funders, families, and youth to create strong programming, to oversee clinical model development, and to support the development of strategic treatment planning for the clients and families we serve.  She has also provided training and consultation to other agencies across the Northeast.  Kari began her career at JRI as a Clinician at Glenhaven Academy.  Over the years, she has ascended through the agency ranks, embracing increasing levels of responsibility in roles such as Clinical Director, Program Director, Division Director, Vice President, Senior Vice President, Executive Vice President and now Chief Operating Officer.  Her career has been marked by an unwavering dedication to children, individuals and families in various settings, including outpatient, residential, secure care, group home, and community-based levels of treatment.  She is a licensed mental health counselor with extensive training in treating traumatic stress and trauma.

Rachel has been a part of the JRI team since January, 2000. For over 20 years, Rachel has been working in the field of human services assisting families with accessing and navigating services. Rachel received her Bachelors degree in psychology and Masters Degree in Public Administration from Bridgewater State University. She was promoted in July 2005 to Family Networks Program Director where she closely worked with the Department of Children Families for 10 years ensuring that children and families received the highest quality of individualized services ranging from community based through residential care. Rachel is very dedicated to helping the individuals she works with and is committed to improving the lives of children and families. Rachel’s passion for creative service programming inspires her in her role as JRI Service Navigator.
