Group Homes Independent Living

JRI offers group home and pre-independent living programs designed to help youth gain and practice the skills necessary for long term success on their own. These programs focus on providing support for skill acquisition in the areas of vocational work, relationship success, life skills, and more. Youth in these sites are supported around continuing their education, finding employment, financial security, and setting up their first independent homes. Staff work closely with youth to provide the support they need until they are ready to do it on their own.

Intensive/Specialized

The Intensive/Specialized Programs of Justice Resource Institute provides optimum treatment environments for young people who are best served within a secure setting. Several of JRI’s programs are unique statewide for the therapeutic design and population served. Our programs are developed to be not only humane but growth-inspiring and positively-focused; supporting successful transitions to less-intensive community settings as possible.

For over thirty years JRI has been provided intensive and specialized services for disregulated youth who’s illness and behavior require the highest level of care and supervision. Our programs include individualized treatment plans, trauma informed care, individual and group therapy and many other specialized services that meet the needs of students we serve.

Justice Programs

JRI’s juvenile justice division has its roots in the origins of the agency. The founders of JRI had previously worked in the Massachusetts state agencies overseeing juvenile justice, and responded to a need for specialized services partnered with the state, providing excellent care and state-of-the-art rehabilitative treatment. Today, JRI offers a range of forensic residential and community-based services, including secure treatment for the most challenging juvenile offenders in two states. JRI remains on the forefront of juvenile justice services, a resource and respected advisor to the states we serve.
