Clinical Case Managers

Clinical Case Managers assist in the oversight of the clinical service provision and planning component for JRI's Connecticut group homes. You have the opportunity to make a difference by developing, implementing, and monitoring activities related to our young adults' treatment plans.   You will be responsible for the provision of individual and group clinical services, coordination of activities with the JRI team, Department of Education, families, and other service providers.  You should have a working understanding of the DCF, DMHAS, and JRI regulations and ensures the program's compliance with service planning, provision, and reporting. You will also be responsible for required client assessments. 

The type of Clinical Case Manager we are seeking takes pride in working with a team who strives to make life a little bit better for our group of young adults, who are truly amazing!

Requirements for Clinical Case Managers

  • Minimum of Master’s degree in Social Work, psychology or counseling from an accredited college or university. Licensed or License eligible.
  • Minimum of two years’ experience in individual, group and family therapy.
  • Experience facilitating assessments with adolescents strongly preferred.
  • Experience in residential program or mental health in-patient program preferred. Knowledge in child and adolescent development required.
  • Experience and/or training in working with populations impacted by traumatic stress, mental and behavioral health challenges, and developmental disabilities preferred.
  • Experience in case management, systems of care, and record keeping preferred.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills required.
  • Acceptable driving record check, Nationwide Alpha background check, State of CT criminal background check using fingerprints and DCF background check.
  • Maintain valid driver’s license.
  • Able to work alone in an unsupervised environment.
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment physical examination.
  • Ability to be certified in BCC and in American Red Cross CPR/First Aid.

Salary for Clinical Case Managers

$55,000 - $60,000

Clinicians

Further your clinical skills while enjoying a rewarding career!  We are seeking a full time Clinician at the Susan Wayne Center of Excellence. Clinicians have the opportunity to make a difference by providing individual, group, and family therapy to a caseload of five to eight residents. The Clinician is an integral member of the resident’s treatment team and is also responsible for the development of interdisciplinary treatment plans, as well as all case documentation. The ideal Clinician demonstrates professionalism and takes pride in working alongside a team of other professionals, as needed with other agencies, and strives to truly help the youth and young adults in our care.

Requirements for Clinicians

JRI pays 100% of the monthly cost of Delta Dental insurance for our employees who work 31 or more hours per week. Employees who work 20-31 hours per week pay for dental coverage on very affordable prorated amount.

Vision

Employees may elect coverage through Eye Med for a comprehensive and affordable vision plan.

Pension Plan

The pension plan is a Defined Benefit plan that is company-paid and is provided at no cost to employees. An employee is eligible and included as a participant in the plan if they are working 1,000 hours during the plan year. If an employee leaves JRI before retirement age they will be entitled to receive some level of pension benefits upon retirement if the employee has worked with JRI for at least 5 years or longer.

401K Plan (20+ hours per week)

JRI will match employee contributions to the 401K plan up to a maximum of $800 per calendar year. Contributions are non-taxable until withdrawn.

Tuition Reimbursement (30+ hours per week)

JRI team members who are in good standing will be eligible for up to $1,350 of reimbursement for tuition for up to three courses per calendar year (maximum of $4,000 per calendar year) at an accredited college or university.  We also have partnerships with several local colleges and universities to help significantly reduce the cost even more for our employees.  See JRI's Educational Opportunities for more information.

Tuition Remission

JRI employees are eligible for the Tuition Remission program. The program offers free tuition for day time regular school year undergraduate courses at state college and universities, including state community colleges. This is on a space available basis and is subject to other terms and conditions.

Other benefits include flexible spending accounts for dependent care and healthcare, an employee assistance program, life insurance, short term disability (CT employees only), long term disability and supplemental life / AD&D.

Rachel has been a part of the JRI team since January, 2000. For over 20 years, Rachel has been working in the field of human services assisting families with accessing and navigating services. Rachel received her Bachelors degree in psychology and Masters Degree in Public Administration from Bridgewater State University. She was promoted in July 2005 to Family Networks Program Director where she closely worked with the Department of Children Families for 10 years ensuring that children and families received the highest quality of individualized services ranging from community based through residential care. Rachel is very dedicated to helping the individuals she works with and is committed to improving the lives of children and families. Rachel’s passion for creative service programming inspires her in her role as JRI Service Navigator.
