Health Law Institute

The JRI Health Law Institute (HLI) provides comprehensive legal support for vulnerable individuals facing health challenges. Through our medical-legal partnership model, we deliver trauma-informed services tailored to low-income clients living with or at high risk for specific health conditions. By addressing critical legal barriers, we help stabilize our clients' circumstances, allowing them to prioritize their essential medical care needs.

Serving the Underserved: Closer to Home

Through our program, "Serving the Underserved: Closer to Home," the Health Law Institute provides legal services onsite at collaborating health centers and multi-service agencies in underserved locations throughout western and southeast Massachusetts. This program is partly funded by a grant from the Massachusetts Bar Foundation.
