Celebrating 25 Years of Recognizing Women’s Leadership and a Record-Breaking $141 Billion in Combined Revenue
Boston, MA – October 24, 2025 – Justice Resource Institute (JRI) is proud to announce that it has been named one of the Top 100 Women-Led Businesses in Massachusetts for 2025 by The Women’s Edge, in partnership with The Boston Globe. This year marks the 25th anniversary of the prestigious list, celebrating the incredible women driving the Commonwealth’s economy forward.
Led by Mia DeMarco, President & CEO, JRI joins an esteemed group of women-led organizations that collectively represent $141 billion in total revenue and operating budgets, a record-breaking 13% increase over last year. These leaders are recognized for their vision, innovation, and commitment to creating positive impact across industries and communities.

The 2025 celebration, held at the Marriott Copley Place in Boston, brought together hundreds of businesses and community leaders to honor women-led organizations across all sectors - from healthcare and finance to education, technology, the arts, and more.
Special guests included Governor Maura Healey and Boston Mayor Michelle Wu, who joined the event to recognize the honorees’ extraordinary contributions. The keynote speaker, Deesha Dyer, former White House Social Secretary under President Barack Obama, author of Undiplomatic, inspired attendees with her message on “Building Rules, Building Bridges: Courageous Leadership in Business & Community.”
Now in its 25th year, the Top 100 Women-Led Businesses in Massachusetts list highlights women CEOs, presidents, and executive directors who are leading some of the state’s most influential companies and nonprofits.
