In-Home Behavioral Services

In-Home Behavioral Services provide essential support for youth struggling with challenging behaviors that disrupt daily life. Using a behavioral approach, we collaborate closely with the child and family to develop a tailored behavior plan to improve the child’s functioning. We work together to implement the personalized plan, offering hands-on guidance and support every step of the way.

Our Mission

In-Home Behavioral Services is dedicated to helping families in Southeastern Massachusetts, Cape Cod and The Islands, Cape Ann, Merrimack Valley, Plymouth, and Taunton manage and reduce challenging behaviors in children. Our approach is grounded in behavioral principles and customized to meet each family's unique needs.

We work closely with families, providing innovative treatment interventions, parent coaching, and progress monitoring through comprehensive data collection methods. Our mission is to offer compassionate, collaborative support that empowers families to create positive change.

Our Programming

In-Home Behavioral Services include:

  • Functional Behavior Assessment (FBA): A thorough assessment to understand the youth's behavior.
  • Behavior Action Plan (BAP): A personalized plan designed to address and improve challenging behaviors.
  • Family Coaching and Support: Guidance and support to help families implement the BAP effectively.
  • Ongoing Monitoring: Regular evaluation of the BAP's effectiveness to ensure progress.
  • Coordination with Providers: Collaborate with other service providers to support the child's well-being.

Our services utilize principles of applied behavior analysis (ABA) and are delivered by JRI therapists with expertise in managing and treating challenging behaviors.

Our Clinical Approach

Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) is the foundation of our clinical approach, utilizing practices like positive reinforcement, repetition, and prompting to develop adaptive skills and promote pro-social behavior.

ABA is also effective in reducing social challenges and serious behavioral issues. A key aspect of ABA is the use of data collection and analysis to guide and refine treatment strategies, ensuring effective and targeted interventions.

Our Team

No team members found.

Our experience with JRI was life changing. Before they were engaged, the highs and lows that go with mental illness had significantly strained our entire family. The JRI in home team got to know our strengths and our challenges. They gave each of us compassion, encouragement, guidance about self care, and a structure to help us rebuild our strengths as a family. After we graduated from services, we were doing a lot better as a family and as a community. We knew how to get along with each other.
