Lindencroft provides intensive therapeutic support for youth who identify as female/female-of-center/transfeminine and have experienced or are at high risk for commercial sexual exploitation. With a 1:3 staff-to-youth ratio, our program offers a comprehensive continuum of trauma-informed services in a home-like environment.
We support youth through various transitions, including family reunification, adoption, pre-independent living, independent living, or aging out of the system, taking an individualized approach to ensure successful transitions into adulthood.
We work collaboratively with the Berkley School Department to develop appropriate educational plans for each youth. Our educational support includes:

Yes! Lindencroft's primary focus is on youth who identify as female who are either at high risk for Commercial and Sexual Exploitation (CSE) or have experienced CSE. The majority of female-identifying youth in DCF care are, by nature of the system, at higher risk than others for sex trafficking and exploitation.
As such, our programming has specific groups focused on CSE prevention and support for those who have already experienced CSE.
We do not provide our location for safety reasons. If you are interested in learning more about the program, please contact the program director. We are in a beautiful location and not far from several cities.
We know each youth we work with will have a different trajectory. Starting at intake, we begin making discharge plans. We get to know the youth, their strengths, and their skills.
Our goal is to ensure each youth leaves Lindencroft with the skills they will require to be successful regardless of whether they are transitioning to adult services, independent living, reunifying, going into foster care/adoption or going to college!
