Peer Support Services

Peer Support Services (PSS) directly responds to people who are infected and/or affected by HIV/AIDS by providing a wide range of one-on-one and peer-led social support activities. These activities include support groups that embrace the diversity of our community.

PSS provides support and education for individuals around topics such as medications, relationships, sexual health, stigma, substance use, communication, and much more.

Our focus is to help people living with HIV/AIDS, those at risk for infection, and those affected by HIV to live healthier, longer, more informed lives.

This one-on-one service is designed for individuals with HIV to maintain or improve their everyday living with HIV. JRI staff assist with disclosure, sexual health, medication adherence, housing and financial issues, nutrition, self-care, and linkage to healthcare and mental health.


THRIVE

THRIVE is a social, educational, and networking event for HIV+ individuals as well as friends and supporters.
