Younity Access Center

YOUnity empowers young people ages 16–26 from all backgrounds, experiences, and identities. Every aspect of our center (from the physical space to our services and programming) is shaped by the voices and leadership of the youth we serve. In addition to services and events, we offer a variety of amenities and resources, including a washer and dryer, shower, food pantry, community closet, and kitchen.

As a DMH Access Center, we believe support works best when it is young adult–led. Our services support young people navigating the transition into adulthood, including challenges related to disability, substance use, housing instability, mental health needs, and LGBTQ+ identities. Our staff walk alongside young people, offering guidance, connection, and resources at a pace that feels right for them.

YOUnity offers a place where young people are respected for who they are today and supported in becoming who they want to be. Our team works from a peer support model and specializes in supporting those who have faced barriers to health and wellness that traditional services have not always addressed. Our staff bring lived experience with LGBTQ+ identities, neurodivergence, homelessness, mental health challenges, and/or involvement with the court system.
