What You Will Learn in a STRIVE Neighborhood Jobs Program
In the STRIVE Neighborhood Jobs program, you will learn a lot of useful things to navigate the corporate workplace including;
Attitudinal Training
Resume and Cover Letter Building
Professional Devlopment Training
Math and Reading Assessment (TABE Testing)
Mock Interview Techniques
Financial Literacy and Budgeting Techniques
Program Eligibility
Ability to read, write and understand English
Must have a desire to start a career working in a hospital setting
High School Diploma, GED or equivalent required, must be 18+ years
Applicants must be vaccinated (COVID-19 vaccine included)
Applicants are required to successfully complete CORI & SORI background checks
Applicants must commit to completing our 4 Week pre-employment Training
Must reside within the city of Boston
Job Placement
Individualized job placement services at hospital employers in the Boston area upon successful completion of training program
Starting pay rate: $18.20 per/hour

What this training involves:
4 weeks pre-employment training
90 days on the job training
Full time employment
