The Arthur D. Leary, Jr. Scholarship Fund was established in the name of the late Arthur Dennis Leary Jr., an exceptionally hard working individual who believed in the pursuit of education. While in high school Arthur was industrious, demonstrating grit and responsibility. He ran his own scuba diving salvaging business and worked for the United States Post Office to save money for college. When he passed at the age of 19, Arthur left insurance policies that allowed his younger brother, Brian Leary, to attend college. This scholarship honors the memory of Arthur D. Leary Jr. by allowing students who have faced the adversity of facing homelessness to advance in their educational pursuits. 2:26

Glenhaven Gives Back! JRI's van der Kolk Center - Glenhaven Academy participated in the Ice Bucket Challenge for ALS! 20 staff and 4 students were involved in this challenge and it was a great way for everyone to give back as a community. Glenhaven has raised a total of $315 for both ALS research and care for ALS patients. Glenhaven Academy challenged the Walden Street School to complete the challenge within 24 hours or donate a minimum of $100 to ALS!! Celine Vienneau, a Competency Coordinator at Glenhaven, organized this event in memory of her father, John Clobridge, who passed away from ALS this past January. 4:24
