About

We are committed to providing strength-based, individualized, and comprehensive evidence-based treatment using evidence-based practices such as Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Applied Behavioral Analysis, and Trauma-Informed approaches like the Attachment, Regulation, and Competency framework.

Evidence-Based Trauma-Informed Care

JRI community-based services programs use the Attachment, Regulation, and Competency (ARC) framework, an evidence-based trauma-informed approach. The ARC framework provides a guiding model for clinical intervention with youth who have trauma histories and their caregiving systems. It supports healthy relationships, growth, and development, and is recognized by the National Child Traumatic Stress Network (NCTSN).

In-Home Therapy and Behavioral Therapy Services

In-home therapy services are offered in Southeastern Mass., Cape and Islands, Boston, Northeast, MetroWest, and Holyoke. We provide intensive home-based support, working closely with parents and children to coach and teach practical skills and help youth learn healthy conflict resolution.

Individual therapy is available in Southeastern Mass., Cape and Islands, Boston, Northeast, and MetroWest. This service is a structured, strength-based therapeutic relationship between a clinician and the youth/family to treat behavioral health needs.

In-home behavioral services are available in Southeastern Mass., Merrimack Valley, and MetroWest. These services are provided by skilled behavioral health clinicians who develop detailed behavior plans to help children and adolescents overcome challenging behaviors.

Therapeutic Mentoring

Therapeutic Mentoring provides one-to-one support for children and adolescents, helping them address daily living, social, and communication needs. Mentors train and guide youth in age-appropriate behavior, problem-solving, conflict resolution, and peer/adult relationships.

Flexible Support Services

Aimed at helping youth and families by empowering them through psychoeducation, enhancing relationships and family dynamics, and providing advocacy and support. Referrals are made through the Department of Mental Health (DMH) for children and young adults up to age 22.

Outpatient Therapy

JRI’s outpatient therapy clinics provide accessible, compassionate, and evidence-based mental health care for individuals and families. Our clinics offer a wide range of services—including individual, group, and family therapy—tailored to meet the unique needs of each client. With a focus on culturally responsive care and community connection, our experienced clinicians support healing, growth, and resilience. Learn more about each of our outpatient clinics:

Community Service Agencies

JRI's Community Service Agencies (CSAs) are community-based organizations that serve MassHealth-insured youth ages 0-20 with significant emotional and/or behavioral needs. CSAs offer three key services, Family-based Intensive Treatment (FIT), Intensive Care Coordination (ICC), and Family Support and Training (FS&T). CSAs are part of a broader system of care, helping families access the services needed for their children to thrive at home, in school, and in the community. Learn more about the CSAs.

Our Team

No team members found.

Our experience with JRI’s in home team was life changing. Before they were engaged, the highs and lows that go with mental illness had significantly strained our entire family. The JRI in home team got to know our strengths and our challenges. They gave each of us compassion, encouragement, guidance about self care, and a structure to help us rebuild our strengths as a family. After we graduated from IHT services, we were doing a lot better as a family and as a community. We knew how to get along with each other.
