Centerpoint is a 16-bed intensive residential treatment program dedicated to supporting emotionally disturbed adolescent males. Cohannet Academy

Community Service Agency

The Community Service Agencies (CSAs) are designed to ensure coordinated and accessible care for youth with Serious Emotional Disturbances (SED) who require or are already utilizing multiple services, or who are involved with various child-serving systems such as child welfare, special education, juvenile justice, and mental health. JRI serves as the Community Service Agency (CSA) for four regions: Cape Cod & the Islands, Lawrence, Taunton, Northeast, and the Dimock Area, which includes most of Boston.

Connecticut Community Based Services

Connecticut Community-Based Services offers therapeutic outpatient services and interventions tailored to meet the needs and goals of each individual. We are client-driven and family-focused. We strive to provide an array of accessible, flexible, and culturally competent services to meet the ever-changing needs of the family.

Connecticut Group Homes

JRI’s Connecticut Group Homes serve youth and young adults with developmental disabilities who have experienced challenging life events. Each client receives 24/7 supervision and therapeutic support in a safe, nurturing environment that promotes healing, personal growth, and increased independence. Residents attend school, work, or participate in vocational programs within the community, building life skills and social connections every day.

Department of Youth Services Capacity Building

JRI enhances the Department of Youth Services' (DYS) capacity by recruiting, training, and supervising various professionals and paraprofessionals to staff working in DYS-operated secure facilities. From maintenance and food service to senior clinical staff, JRI ensures that DYS has the personnel it needs to maintain high-quality services and respond effectively as needs change.

Developing Abilities Employment Supports, offered through MetroWest Works in Natick, Westborough, and Northborough, provide community-based day supports designed to prepare individuals for meaningful paid work. With small, community-oriented centers, participants have multiple daily opportunities to practice and refine their work skills in real-world environments, paving the way for successful and sustained employment.

Developing Abilities Willow Tree Day Habilitation

Willow Tree in Natick and Northboro, Massachusetts, offers active treatment programs that focus on helping adults with significant learning needs, including those with autism, chronic health conditions, and mobility challenges, gain new abilities and enhance their rehabilitative outcomes. Our programs are designed for transition-aged adults and others who benefit from a personalized, small-group approach emphasizing community integration and active engagement in meaningful activities.

DYS Northeast and Western Region Health Services

JRI's medical and psychiatric professionals team delivers high-quality healthcare services to youth detained or committed to the Department of Youth Services (DYS) across nine sites in Massachusetts' Northeast and Western regions. Operating in Middleton, Amesbury, Peabody, Springfield, Westfield, Chicopee, and South Hadley, we ensure these young individuals receive both urgent medical and psychiatric care, as well as routine health, mental health, and dental services. This comprehensive approach to care addresses immediate needs while building foundations for long-term wellness. Early Childhood Training and Consultation

Early Childhood Training and Consultation (ECTC) is composed of a multi-disciplinary team of early childhood, mental health, education, and special education professionals who partner with childcare programs and families to support the healthy development of young children.

Educational Advocacy Services

The JRI Educational Advocacy Program supports children and youth with learning disabilities, emotional, behavioral, physical, and spectrum disorders. Our goal is to ensure these children receive the necessary services and accommodations to succeed in the least restrictive environment while accessing equal educational opportunities. We assist parents, caregivers, and state agency staff in navigating the special education process, providing direct advocacy, accessing appropriate educational services, and mediating disputes between families and schools.

Evolution Independent Living

The Evolution Independent Living Program supports young adults as they prepare for life in the community. Serving individuals with a history of multiple placements, substance abuse, risky behaviors, and trauma, Evolution provides a safe and supportive environment. The program helps develop the skills needed to sustain affordable housing, secure employment, and achieve educational goals. Through one-on-one life coaching, mentoring, and access to community resources, we help young adults build a stable and successful future.

Families Overcoming Challenges Utilizing Support (FOCUS)

Families Overcoming Challenges Utilizing Support (FOCUS) helps families in southeastern Massachusetts who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless. FOCUS provides temporary emergency shelter, diversion services, and comprehensive case management through a collaborative and strength-based approach. The program aims to empower families by offering essential support, education, and resources to achieve housing stability and long-term success. FOCUS serves families across Bristol County, including New Bedford, Fall River, Attleboro, Taunton, and surrounding communities.

First Connections

At First Connections, our mission is to equip parents with tools, practical strategies, and connections to other families and their communities to foster healthy parenting and guide them through the first years of the parenting journey. Glenhaven Academy

Glenhaven Academy offers comprehensive clinical, educational, vocational, and medical services for youth, adolescents, and young adults who have difficulties regulating their emotional and physiological responses. At Glenhaven Academy they have the opportunity to live in a safe and supportive community where they can develop their capacities for self-regulation so as to improve their relationships and maximize their strengths. Granite Academy

Granite Academy is a dynamic, strength-based day school serving middle and high school students whose social-emotional needs impact their learning experience. GRIP Program

GRIP is an intensive group home for all genders in Lowell, MA, serving transitional-age youth (16-22) with histories of complex trauma, mental health challenges, and behavioral difficulties. We provide comprehensive support within a structured, home-like environment to facilitate successful transitions to independent living.

Health Law Institute

The JRI Health Law Institute (HLI) provides comprehensive legal support for vulnerable individuals facing health challenges. Through our medical-legal partnership model, we deliver trauma-informed services tailored to low-income clients living with or at high risk for specific health conditions. By addressing critical legal barriers, we help stabilize our clients' circumstances, allowing them to prioritize their essential medical care needs.  

Housing is Healthcare

Housing is Healthcare is a vital program funded by the Bureau of Substance Abuse Services, dedicated to supporting adults who have faced homelessness and are particularly vulnerable to HIV in Boston's "Mass & Cass" area. The program aims to provide stability and improve the overall health and well-being of those most in need by offering extensive and long-term housing solutions coupled with comprehensive case management.

Housing Options Program

The JRI Health Housing Options Program (HOP) provides essential housing support through rental subsidies and comprehensive services to clients referred directly by the Department of Mental Health - Metro Office.

Huntington at Symphony

Huntington At Symphony (HAS) in Boston is a unique housing program that partners with the Boston Housing Authority and Cushing Companies to offer subsidized housing units for individuals living with HIV/AIDS (PLWHA). This program ensures residents have access to essential support services, including 24-hour concierge service and JRI Health Medical Case Management, to help them maintain their health and independence in a secure environment.  

In-Home Behavioral Services

In-Home Behavioral Services provide essential support for youth struggling with challenging behaviors that disrupt daily life. Using a behavioral approach, we collaborate closely with the child and family to develop a tailored behavior plan to improve the child’s functioning. We work together to implement the personalized plan, offering hands-on guidance and support every step of the way.

Journey Home

Journey Home is a therapeutic intensive group home for adolescent males who need structured support to successfully transition back to community living. We create a safe, engaging environment where young men develop essential skills to overcome obstacles and build a positive future.

Juvenile Court Clinics

The Juvenile Court Clinic Program provides comprehensive forensic mental health services across six Massachusetts counties: Barnstable, Plymouth, Bristol, Dukes, Essex, and Nantucket. We provide specialized court-ordered mental health and substance use assessments, extended, comprehensive evaluations, and consultations to the juvenile courts. We attempt to connect youth and families to necessary community resources to assist in decreasing a child's further involvement with the juvenile courts.

Lead Agency

Lead Agency partners closely with DCF and families to ensure children and families receive the care and support they need. Our compassionate team works hand-in-hand with families in Brockton, Taunton, Cape Cod, and the Islands, identifying, securing, and monitoring services tailored to each family's unique needs. We are committed to helping families with DCF involvement find stability and hope through personalized support and collaboration.

Lindencroft

Lindencroft provides intensive therapeutic support for youth who identify as female/female-of-center/transfeminine and have experienced or are at high risk for commercial sexual exploitation. With a 1:3 staff-to-youth ratio, our program offers a comprehensive continuum of trauma-informed services in a home-like environment. We support youth through various transitions, including family reunification, adoption, pre-independent living, independent living, or aging out of the system, taking an individualized approach to ensure successful transitions into adulthood.

Little Heroes

The Little Heroes Group Home provides a supportive, home-like environment for latency-age children (5-12) who are experiencing social, emotional, mental health, and behavioral challenges. Located in the suburban community of Dracut, MA, our program serves children with histories of complex trauma, offering specialized care that helps them develop the skills needed to manage trauma symptoms and successfully transition to permanent placements in the community.

Littleton Academy

Littleton Academy is a therapeutic residential school providing comprehensive clinical treatment and education to latency age children who have a history of complex trauma and significant behavioral/mental health issues and learning difficulties.

Long Term Services and Supports

LTSS Care Partners is a team of dedicated Care Coordinators who work collaboratively with your child's healthcare providers and social support networks to improve access to care and resources. Many of our Care Coordinators are bilingual in English and other languages, ensuring effective communication for diverse families. This valuable service is provided as part of your child's MassHealth insurance coverage.

Meadowridge Academy

Meadowridge Academy is a therapeutic residential school providing comprehensive treatment to youth and young adults with mental health issues, behavioral difficulties, and complex trauma histories. We use the evidence-based treatment model, Attachment, Regulation, and Competency (ARC), to help students build positive relationships and self-regulation skills, and transform their individual interests into sources of strengths, resiliency, and success. Our students attend school on campus, year-round, and have a full day of academic and vocational training.

Medical Case Management

JRI Health provides Medical Case Management (MCM) for people living with HIV/AIDS. MCM offers a wide range of client-centered services, such as linkage to medical care and coordination of support for medication adherence and insurance. It also assists with housing, mainstream benefits and resources, support groups, and care coordination for substance use and mental health services.

Merrimack Center

The Merrimack Center is a Joint Commission-accredited Intensive Residential Treatment Program (IRTP) dedicated to providing trauma-informed care for adolescents navigating serious mental illness, intellectual disabilities, and challenging behaviors. Our approach focuses on building each individual's potential to overcome behavioral challenges, develop social skills, and achieve greater competencies. By creating a safe and supportive environment, we empower youth to progress toward a more stable and fulfilling future.

Metrowest Behavioral Health Center

The Metrowest Behavioral Health Center is part of Children’s Friend and Family Services (CFFS), a division of JRI. Our outpatient mental health counseling services provide expertise in general mental health, complex psychological trauma, and parenting consultation. We also offer In-Home Therapy, Therapeutic Mentoring, and In-Home Behavioral Services.

My Life My Choice

My Life My Choice is committed to eradicating the commercial sexual exploitation of children by offering survivor-led solutions throughout Eastern Massachusetts. We provide a range of services, including survivor mentoring, intensive case management, mental health support, and group work for young people of all genders who have faced exploitation. Our work extends nationwide through prevention education, professional training, consultation, and advocacy. Parents As Teachers (PAT) is a nationally recognized, evidence-based program designed to empower parents as their child's first and most influential teachers. Serving families from prenatal stages to kindergarten, the PAT program emphasizes parent-child interaction, development-centered parenting, and family well-being. Through structured curriculum and personalized support, PAT helps parents nurture their child’s development, detect potential delays early, and build a strong foundation for future school success.

PEACE

PEACE is a Coordinated Specialty Care program dedicated to helping individuals who are experiencing early signs of psychosis, such as changes in thoughts, social functioning, or hallucinations. By addressing these symptoms early, our team works to reduce the risk of recurrence and supports individuals in achieving optimal recovery. The PEACE team offers a safe, stigma-free environment where individuals and families can openly discuss their experiences and receive the support they need for a hopeful future.

Peer Support Services

Peer Support Services (PSS) directly responds to people who are infected and/or affected by HIV/AIDS by providing a wide range of one-on-one and peer-led social support activities. These activities include support groups that embrace the diversity of our community. PSS provides support and education for individuals around topics such as medications, relationships, sexual health, stigma, substance use, communication, and much more.

Pelham Academy

Pelham Academy is a therapeutic residential school providing comprehensive treatment and education to adolescent and young adult females with emotional and behavioral challenges, mental health disorders, and complex trauma histories. Our mission is to provide individualized care within a supportive community with the goal of promoting resiliency, growth, and independence.

Prevention and Access to Care and Treatment (PACT)

PACT provides comprehensive home-based care for people living with HIV and Hepatitis C who struggle to navigate healthcare systems and treatment regimens. Our Community Health Workers (CHWs) offer personalized support by assisting clients with medical appointment coordination, medication management, and in addressing various obstacles to improved health outcomes. PACT also provides training and technical assistance to organizations interested in developing their own community health worker programs.

Program RISE

RISE, a program of JRI Health, is a multi-service integrated community prevention program offering health and social services to people in the Metrowest area. Our services include free counseling and testing for HIV, Hepatitis C, and Sexually Transmitted Infections; PrEP and PEP; treatment for Sexually Transmitted Infections and HCV; medical and housing case management for people living with HIV; HIV peer support services; and community education, training, and outreach.  

Rediscovery House

Rediscovery is a therapeutic based group home with a focus on independent living skill building for males between ages 16-21. Rediscovery believes that all youth should have access to learning and developing independent living skills, regardless of their discharge plan once out of adolescent care. We strive to be inclusive, embrace diversity, foster a sense of community and support long-term connections to prepare youth for increased independence and a successful transition into adulthood.

Rediscovery Independent Living

Our Independent Living (IL) Program houses young adults from 18-24 years old in small efficiency-type apartments or shared-living housing. The program is designed for youth who are stepping down from group care and are ready to learn how to live on their own.

River Run Academy

River Run Academy is the clinical day school at the Susan Wayne Center of Excellence. We offer intensive educational, vocational, and clinical services for mild-to-moderately cognitively impaired students. Some of our students have concurrent mental health, behavioral, and medical issues.

River Street Community

Located in Mattapan, Massachusetts, the River Street Community (RSC) program offers subsidized housing units for individuals living with HIV/AIDS in partnership with the Boston Housing Authority.  

Southeast Behavioral Health Center

The Southeast Behavioral Health Center (SEBHC) is a Joint Commission-accredited clinic that provides comprehensive assessment and treatment to individuals and families of all ages. In-Home Therapy and Therapeutic Mentoring are also offered through our Taunton location.

STRIVE

STRIVE Boston is dedicated to empowering individuals with barriers to employment by providing comprehensive job training, coaching, and employment services. We believe in a future where everyone can achieve economic self-sufficiency, dignity, and personal growth. STRIVE Boston supports young adults entering the workforce, individuals reentering the job market after incarceration, and those looking to change careers or return to work after raising children.

Supports to Empower People (STEP)

STEP provides residential and community and employment services support to adult men living in Rhode Island who have intellectual disabilities/developmental disabilities (ID/D), as well as significant behavioral and mental health concerns. These individuals are referred to STEP through the RI Department of Behavioral Health, Developmental Disabilities, and Hospitals (BHDDH).

Susan Wayne Center of Excellence

The Susan Wayne Center of Excellence (SWCE) is a residential treatment center designed to enable students with mild-to-moderate cognitive impairment with behavioral, mental health, and medical challenges to reach their maximum potential. SWCE students attend school at River Run Academy, and are offered the opportunity to live on our 38 acre campus or commute from their communities. A key component of our mission is keeping family-centered values at the forefront of our work. Our programs utilize a strength-based, individualized, whole-person approach within a trauma-informed framework to help students build positive relationships, learn and practice self-regulation skills, and identify strengths.

Swansea Wood School

Swansea Wood School is a therapeutic, year-long residential school serving adolescents and young adults who struggle with significant and chronic past trauma and/or organic illness and function at a mild-to-moderately cognitively impaired level. We offer students the opportunity to progress academically, remediate past academic challenges, and increase cognitive ability through clinical, vocational, milieu, and educational experiences.  

The Victor School

At the Victor School, an exceptional education and specialized therapeutic attention go hand-in-hand. Our students are intellectually gifted and have social/emotional challenges that have been underserved in prior school settings. Our unique program allows students to continue their college preparatory education within a supportive environment where they can learn, grow, and succeed.

Total Achievement Program

TAP, or Total Achievement Programs, are therapeutic after-school programs dedicated to enhancing the social skills of children ages 6-12 with complex emotional and behavioral needs who have been unable to succeed in non-therapeutic community-program settings.

Training and Technical Assistance Team

The Training and Technical Assistance Team comprises experienced facilitators and writers who deliver high-quality training and technical assistance across various topics. Our staff have expertise in services for people who are facing a variety of challenges: substance use, housing instability, complex chronic illnesses, and HIV/AIDS. Trot On offers innovative psychotherapy services to youth, adults, and their families who are dealing with social, emotional, and behavioral challenges, often rooted in complex trauma. By integrating equine interaction into therapy, we provide a unique, embodied experience that fosters connection and healing. Walden Street School is a trauma-informed therapeutic residential school for biological females who are struggling with significant past trauma or organic mental illness. Young Parent Living Program

The Young Parent Living Program is a DCF and DTA funded residential program for teens who are pregnant or parenting. Teens live in their own apartments with 24 hour staff support, education and job training, medical, dental and day care referrals, housing search and aftercare support.
