CAREER Pathways Training with Job Placement Opportunities

Career Pathways is a program of STRIVE Boston that includes pre-employment professional development training followed by training with one of our partners in the opportunity of your choice and a job placement.

• Central Sterile Processing Technician
• Certified Nursing Assistant
• Early Childhood Education Teacher
• Material Handlers
• Practice Assistant
• Transporters
• Enviro-Cleaning
• Food Service

 

Opportunity 1
3-week pre-employment training at STRIVE followed by a 90-day paid internship in the position of interest at Brigham and Women’s Hospital. Upon completing 90-days successfully, the temporary position becomes permanent.

• Starting pay rate: $19-24 per/hour

 

Opportunity 2
3-week pre-employment training at STRIVE followed by 6-12 weeks of hard skills training in Certified Nursing Assistant, Central Sterile Technician or a Pharmacy Technician fields. Hard Skills training courses come with paid internships and job placement.

• Starting pay rate: $17-23 per/hour

Pre-Employment Training with STRIVE Boston
Monday to Friday from 10 -11:30am staring September 9, 2024 OR October 21, 2024
 

Program Eligibility

• Be able to speak and write in English
• Be authorized to work in the United States
• Be able to commit to 3 weeks of pre-employment training
• Ability to pay attention to detail, problem solve, and apply
critical thinking skills
• HS Diploma, GED, or equivalent required
• Must be 18+ years old
• Must reside in the Boston area
