JRI, a provider of trauma-informed care to children and families in Massachusetts, Rhode Island and Connecticut, has appointed Patti Maguire, of Arlington, as senior vice president.

In her new role, Maguire will report directly to JRI President and CEO Andy Pond and hold senior-level responsibility over several JRI programs, including Developing Abilities, which serves individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities as well as JRI's Comprehensive Foster Care programs. She will also be responsible for managing JRI's involvement in the state Medicaid reform process in Massachusetts.

Maguire brings nearly 20 years of experience as a human services executive to her position at JRI. Most recently, Maguire held the position of vice president at The MENTOR Network's Child and Family Services Center of Excellence, where she launched a new corporate department responsible for driving clinical best practice, quality improvement and business development priorities for the Child and Families Services division operating in nine states.

Maguire holds a bachelor's degree in mathematics from the College of the Holy Cross and a master's degree in social work from Boston College.
