JRI, a provider of trauma-informed care to children and families in Massachusetts, Rhode Island, and Connecticut, has named Clinton resident Kerry-Ann Williams, M.D. to the position of medical director of children’s residential programming in Massachusetts.

Williams, a psychiatrist, brings years of experience to her role at JRI.  In her new position, Williams will strengthen the communication between physicians and psychiatric nurse practitioners who work in residential programs and the senior administrators who run them. She will provide consultation to the programs regarding the management of complex cases.  She will also continue her role as staff psychiatrist at JRI’s Walden Street School and as a part-time instructor in psychiatry at Harvard Medical School.

  Williams holds a BS from Baylor University and an MD from Creighton University School of Medicine.  She completed her general psychiatry residency at the combined Creighton University and University of Nebraska Medical Center program and is also a graduate of the child and adolescent fellowship program at Brown University.
