GROW Greenhouses

Gardening Resources of Wellness, affectionately known as "Grow," is a program offered by JRI (Justice Resource Institute) that is dedicated to exploring the benefits of horticultural therapy and nature-based approaches. At its core, Grow is on a mission to help clients reconnect with themselves by harnessing our deep, innate connection with nature.

Director of Therapeutic Horticulture

The heart of the Grow program lies within four historic greenhouses that had been abandoned for many decades. JRI's Grow recognized the overlooked potential in these beautiful structures and transformed them into vibrant spaces for our clients to learn, heal, and flourish. Grow integrates the therapeutic benefits of gardening and plant care into our programs. Clients have the opportunity to engage in hands-on gardening activities that promote physical, emotional, and cognitive well-being.
