CAREER Pathways Training with Job Placement Opportunities

 

Career Pathways is a program of STRIVE Boston that includes pre-employment professional development training followed by training with one of our partners in the opportunity of your choice and a job placement.

Opportunity 1

3-week pre-employment training at STRIVE followed by a 90-day paid internship in the position of interest at Brigham and Women’s Hospital. Upon completing the 90-days successfully, the temporary position becomes permanent.

• Staring pay rate: $17-19 per/hour

 

Opportunity 2

3-week pre-employment training at STRIVE followed by 6-12 weeks (about 3 months) of hard skills training in Certified Nursing Assistant, Central Sterile Technician or a Pharmacy Technician field. Hard Skills training courses come with paid internships and job placement.

• Starting pay rate: $17-23 per/hour

Pre-Employment Training with STRIVE Boston

Schedule: Monday to Friday from 10 - 11:30am staring April 14, 2025

Classes start April 14, 2025

 

Program Eligibility

• Be able to speak and write in English
• Be authorized to work in the United States
• Be able to commit to 3 weeks of pre-employment training
• Ability to pay attention to detail, problem solve, and apply critical thinking skills
• HS Diploma, GED, or equivalent required,
• Must be 18+ years old
• Must reside in the Boston area
