NEEDHAM — Justice Resource Institute will get nearly $1 million from the Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention at the Department of Justice to provide mental health services and caregiver support to underserved and marginalized children and their families who have been exposed to violence.
Michelle has been part of JRI since 2007 and has worked in the Residential Division ever since. She started as an intern at Pelham Academy, and has been a Clinician, a Clinical Administrator, Assistant Director, a Director and most recently a Division Director of Residential Services. Michelle brings her clinical background to this new role with training in SMART, ARC, and Neurofeedback. She has been a Clinical Supervisor for many years and also brings knowledge of how to implement treatment in a group care setting. She is also a certified BCC trainer.
Gardening Resources of Wellness, affectionately known as "Grow," is a program offered by JRI (Justice Resource Institute) that is dedicated to exploring the benefits of horticultural therapy and nature-based approaches. At its core, Grow is on a mission to help clients reconnect with themselves by harnessing our deep, innate connection with nature.
