At its core, Grow is on a mission to help clients reconnect with themselves by harnessing our deep, innate connection with nature.

Jenese Brownhill Selected as Senior Director of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion at JRI

We are excited to announce that Jenese Brownhill, LICSW, has been selected for the new role of Senior Director of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion at JRI.

Jenese has extensive experience in leading teams that provide trauma-informed care to juvenile justice-involved youth, including directing quality improvement and change management associated with implementing various service delivery models.

Andy Pond receives Honorary Doctorate of Humane Letters

Andy Pond has served as President & CEO of the Justice Resource Institute (JRI) since 2006. He first joined JRI in 1985, having earned a master’s degree in teaching from SUNY Cortland and his bachelor’s degree in English from UMass Amherst.  He earned a master's degree in social work while honing his skills as a leader at JRI, and focused his early career on adolescents suffering from the effects of complex trauma. After becoming CEO, Pond built a talented management team, further advancing JRI as an agency at the forefront of the social justice movement.

Rachel has been a part of the JRI team since January, 2000. For over 20 years, Rachel has been working in the field of human services assisting families with accessing and navigating services. Rachel received her Bachelors degree in psychology and Masters Degree in Public Administration from Bridgewater State University. She was promoted in July 2005 to Family Networks Program Director where she closely worked with the Department of Children Families for 10 years ensuring that children and families received the highest quality of individualized services ranging from community based through residential care. Rachel is very dedicated to helping the individuals she works with and is committed to improving the lives of children and families. Rachel’s passion for creative service programming inspires her in her role as JRI Service Navigator.
