Bay Cove Academy is a small, therapeutic day school located in Brookline, Massachusetts serving adolescents, ages 12-22.  Approved by the Massachusetts Department of Education and nationally recognized by the US Department of Labor for its Career Development Program, the school provides a highly structured, learning environment for teens whose educational and social needs exceed those which traditional public and private schools can accommodate.

Children’s Friend and Family Services, a division of JRI providing children’s mental health, youth mentoring, teen parenting and juvenile court services to families north of Boston, is celebrating its 180th anniversary this May.  To celebrate its anniversary and Children’s Mental Health Week (May 3-9), Children’s Friend will be hosting the following special local events:

JRI, a provider of trauma-informed care to children and families in Massachusetts, Rhode Island, and Connecticut, has named Matt George to the position of Director of Residential Budgets and Fiscal Reporting.   In this new role, George will be responsible for JRI’s external reporting as well as budget support for residential programs operated by the agency.

Congratulations to Cameron Smith for receiving the 2017 Volunteer Of The Year award from JRI.  Cameron has been a volunteer with Children's Friend and Family Services, a division of JRI, for over five years.
