About JRI

Justice Resource Institute (JRI) is a leader in social justice, offering over 100 programs that address the needs of underserved individuals, families, and communities through compassionate support, innovation, and community leadership.
JRI provides various services, including trauma-informed care, behavioral health services, residential treatment programs, educational services, community-based programs, and specialized programs for children, families, and adults.
Our work at JRI is grounded in social justice and tailored to meet the unique needs of each person we serve. The underlying thread throughout all of our programs is that we provide trauma-informed care.

To ensure quality, many of our programs are accredited by the Joint Commission or CARF and follow strict licensing and regulatory standards.

Quality is also driven by the JRI Circle, a continuous improvement model that guides how we evolve our services:

We collect data on service effectiveness.

Our research team uses this data to identify gaps in social justice.
These insights inform training that transforms how care is delivered.
We implement innovative practices, generating new data and restarting the cycle.

This process not only strengthens our programs but also contributes to the broader human services field through shared discoveries and collaboration.
JRI operates multiple locations across Massachusetts, Rhode Island, and Connecticut. Use our program finder tool to find programs and services near you.
There are many ways to support JRI, including volunteering, advocacy, and donations. Visit our Get Involved or Give page to learn more about how you can contribute to our mission of social justice and community support.
