The Juvenile Court Clinic Program (JCCP), provides mental health evaluation, consultation, and liaison services to the Juvenile Courts of Barnstable, Plymouth, Bristol, Dukes, Essex and Nantucket counties through contracts with the Massachusetts Trial Court Juvenile Court Department and the Department of Mental Health's Forensic Services Division.
JRI implements a Hardware Secure Treatment Program plan that is designed to meet the complex mental health and treatment needs of DYS-involved youth. The full range of services addresses security (youth and community), behavior management, clinical, health, substance use, education, recreation, family engagement and support, facility operation and community transition. Services include supports for family members and treats the whole youth as an individual as well as family and community member.
JRI hires and provides ongoing support/supervision/training to skilled staff to fill an array of full- and part-time roles in DYS-operated secure facilities. Departmental positions range from direct care and cooks to senior clinical staff. JRI also provides support for ongoing monthly and as-needed clinical professional development, including co-sponsorship of the DYS annual statewide clinical conference.
The Training and Technical Assistance Team is a team of experienced facilitators and writers who offer training and technical assistance on a broad variety of topics, with particular expertise in HIV/AIDS, engaging hard-to-reach patients, motivational interviewing, substance use, mental illness, and program development. We are available on a fee-for-service basis to provide trainings at your organization.
The JRI Health Housing Options Program (HOP) provides rental subsidies and housing support services to clients who are directly referred by the Department of Mental Health- Metro Office.
Huntington At Symphony (HAS) Boston, Mass. JRI partners with the Boston Housing Authority and Cushing Companies in order to provide 25 subsidized housing units for persons living with HIV/AIDS (PLWHA). This unique program provides 24-hour concierge service and access to JRI Health Medical Case Management.
River Street Community (RSC) program is located in Mattapan, Mass. In partnership with the Boston Housing Authority, JRI oversees management of 15 units of subsidized housing for persons living with HIV/AIDS. Program participants receive Medical Case Management services provided by JRI Health staff.
The YouthHarbors program serves homeless, unaccompanied high school students who statistically are 87% more likely than their housed peers to drop out of high school.
The FOCUS Program provides temporary emergency shelter, diversion services, case management, and stabilization services to families in southeastern Mass. who are homeless or at-risk of becoming homeless.
The Assisted Living Program (ALP) provides both affordable housing opportunities and supportive services for persons living with HIV/AIDS, throughout Massachusetts. JRI partners with regional housing authorities that administer specially set-aside housing subsidies for PLWHA. In addition, program participants are provided with supportive services that ensure health and housing stability.

Rachel has been a part of the JRI team since January, 2000. For over 20 years, Rachel has been working in the field of human services assisting families with accessing and navigating services. Rachel received her Bachelors degree in psychology and Masters Degree in Public Administration from Bridgewater State University. She was promoted in July 2005 to Family Networks Program Director where she closely worked with the Department of Children Families for 10 years ensuring that children and families received the highest quality of individualized services ranging from community based through residential care. Rachel is very dedicated to helping the individuals she works with and is committed to improving the lives of children and families. Rachel’s passion for creative service programming inspires her in her role as JRI Service Navigator.
